Reading in the AI era is no longer a linear, solitary activity. With abundant computational assistance, the limiting factor is not access to information but the quality of questions, focus, and synthesis. Preparation before reading is therefore critical.

• Formulate explicit questions before reading. High-quality questions function as polar stars: they guide attention, shape interpretation, and anchor new knowledge to existing mental models.

• Build an experimental bibliography using:
